While working as an intern at the Office of University Marketing at Texas State University, I was told by the lead writer/ editor Mary-Love Bigony and writer/ editor Audrey Webb to come up with a list of people to interview who I thought were good candidates to write an article about. I came up with a list. Ms. Bigony and Ms. Webb were enthusiastic about me choosing Terence Parker as a good person to interview. As the Vice President of Student Affairs, he was required to connect and help other students on campus get the help they need whether it be academically or personally. Because of the interview’s length of discussion, Ms. Bigony, Ms. Webb and myself were thinking about whether to make it a Q & A or an article. After weeks of editing and deciding what to base the idea of the conversation around, we eventually chose to make it an article on the Texas State University blog. (Apologies if there is confusion between the file name and the article posted on the blog. The title was changed at the last minute.) The link can be found below:
