History
Mime doesn’t have any recollection of her life before. All she knows is that she was recruited by the CIA to carry out unsanctioned missions. The CIA told her the code name “Mime” was given due to her habits as a military operative. During missions, she barely spoke. She would communicate to her team using only hand signals. This caused her unit to jokingly refer to her as “Mime” since they did not know her real name either. They only addressed her by her title. The CIA thought it was an ideal code name to utilize when referring to her instead of calling her “Subject MKU”.

She was a sadist who loved the violent nature of the missions she went on. Because of this, she never questioned her duty for the longest time until she overheard her superiors one day say the “M” in “Subject MKU” stood for Marshal. At first, she just thought that stood for another title, but they personified Marshal in the conversation as if it was a previous person. Upon further investigation, she stumbled upon a file named, “Marshal’s Kiosk of Unsuccess”. The suspicious title matching the acronym of her label piqued her curiosity. When she opened it, her eyes awakened to the truth like never before. She saw herself being tortured as they implemented multiple techniques, some even from the Nazi era, to wipe her memory and take control of her mind.

Mime knew she was a lot of things, but she was no puppet. She did more research in why they did this to her. Upon further investigation, she saw one name responsible for her current predicament – Sophita Yuriko Marshal a.k.a. Quietess. Apparently, she was supposed to be the original subject of Project “MKU” but found out their plan before they could use her as a weapon. Mime was a substitute for the original and almost a successful one at that if she didn’t stumble upon the truth.

With the abilities given to her by the facility even more refined than Quietess’s, she destroyed the facility programming as well as the immediate commanders responsible for delegating her unsanctioned missions. She knew there was an entity out there even pulling the CIA’s strings but knew they were so powerful, she couldn’t touch them. With her sadistic nature to cause violence, she directed her rage to hunting down Quietess. In her troubled mind, she saw Quietess as one of the main people responsible for having her go through so much pain. If Quietess never escaped the program, she wouldn’t ever have to feel like a ventriloquist playing in the palm of someone else’s hand. Her fixation on Quietess later on turns into pure insanity as she starts to hate the fact she even exists.

Every time Quietess acts as a heroine, she sees her only as a hypocrite who has also killed in the service of killers only for society to see her as a righteous person while she remains the scum. Mime becomes Quietess’s most dangerous enemy as her erratic behavior and super soldier abilities puts Quietess’s heroic acts in volatile situations.

Personality
Mime is a mentally unstable individual. She hates crowds as she hates their scornful looks. She never fits in. Her pale skin is proof she is a night owl. She also likes to keep a military bald cut. Long hair, in her eyes, is a societal norm pushed on to women. Being normal is an enemy in itself to her.

She only speaks when she executes sadistic acts that excites her. Before she utters a word, a terrifying smile slowly spreads across her face, signaling her about to do a sinful act. During any other time, she is mute and has a stern face.

As she becomes romantically involved with Jackel “The Amusing Sinner”, she becomes a member of the Klown Krew. She sports her military grade gear but adds mascara around her eyelids and black lipstick spread across her face in the shape of a smile. Mixed with the pale complexion and contours of her skin, her face resembles that of an actual mime.

Abilities, Powers, Skills…
Mime is able to move at super-human speed. Marginally faster than the fastest runner.

Has excellent reflexes.

Twice as strong as the average person.

Uses grenades and firearms.

Can assess and adapt to a situation at moment’s notice.

Superior marksman.

She has a top notch perception of enemies around her.

Is excellent at Jeet Kune Do, Taekwondo, Marine Corps martial arts, and other self-defense techniques.

Allies/ Enemies
Her allies are the Klown Krew, mainly Jackel. After a failed attempt at Quietess’s life herself, she hires Jackel to use his gang and resources to hunt her down by any means necessary. The plan was while she was in a disguise aiding the hunt, she would pin all the blame on the Klown Krew, leaving her free from blame. However, she ended up harmonizing with Jackel’s uncanny personality. She loved the fact he was like her with no rules or restrictions to keep them in control. She saw him as freedom; unshackled to the world’s order. With Boe Boe on as his right hand man and Mime as his muscle, Jackel’s Klown Krew became an violent storm of chaos nearly no one could stop.

Quietess is the main enemy she fixates herself on as she sees her as someone she could’ve been, which sickens her stomach. She can’t imagine a life where her morality (if she had any) trumped her insanity.

Creation and Development
Mime is a character from Tatum Games created and developed by Reginald Andah. Her character stems from the criminally insane minds of villains such as Harley Quinn and The Joker.

Mime is a representation of chaos while Quietess serves as a society trying to create order from it. As opposite sides of a coin, they constantly clash learning a little something about themselves and the sides of light and dark each time they do. Both personifications of good and evil drive the other to the limit either for better or worst.

Trivia
There is still somewhat of a residue of mind control techniques left in Mime’s head. Because of this, mysterious people who know of the “Subject MKU” experiment, can still enslave her with trigger words. This happens a few times as she does things from the night before she can’t remember.

Mime and Jackel develop an incredibly unhealthy codependent relationship for each other. If either is in trouble, the other creepily instinctively knows and aids the other immediately; almost like a mysterious psychic link for another. It can be romantic in a strange way but most times disturbing.

She keeps a picture she found in a pocket of old pants she used to wear. Something tells her if she dug further to uncover her past, there will be things about herself she will encounter causing her to rethink the person she has become. Every fiber of her being refuses to be a normal person, but a small part of her can’t help but wonder. She keeps it as a momento.
