The professor I previously had who taught an ethics course required the class to write an explication of John Stuart Mill’s philosophy, specifically Mill’s argument for the principle of utility. Since the professor didn’t prefer a title for this midterm essay, the document is named “Ethics Midterm Essay”. Due to the heavy critical analysis the essay required, it was a challenge, but I was able to receive one of the highest scores after its critique.
